Our design philosophy is to combine functional objects with aesthetics, constantly seeking the balance between daily use and beauty of the space.
At DFI Interiors, getting to know our clients and their needs comes as a priority. We work hand-in-hand with you to find design solutions that fit your lifestyle, your budget and your taste without compromising on your goals.
DESIGN
PROCESS
A typical project is usually broken down into several stages. Please keep in mind that your project will be tailored to your unique needs and may not need all of the stages listed here
1.
Initial Contact
During our first initial contact, usually by phone, we will get an understanding of what your goals are and how we can best help you reach them. We then send you an intake questionnaire to get to know you more in depth, ask you to gather a few images of interiors or elements you like. This first contact is free of charge.
After our initial phone conversation, we will schedule a meeting at your house to walk through the space and talk about your project more in depth.
The initial phase ends with a contract and Scope of Work proposal that is sent approximately a week after the house visit.

Design Planning phase
This phase sets the direction for the entire project. It is divided in several steps:
(a) Determination of a budget: At DFI Interiors, we know that creating a budget can be a hazardous task, that is why we are here to help you. We have our own in-house on-the-fly budgeting tool that will give you an estimate of how much it will cost to make your project come true.
(b) Space measurements
(c) Color scheme: A color scheme is 4-5 colors selections that will be physically present in your space.
(d) Moodboard: a moodboard is a series of elements that are put together to give you a visual example of how your space would look.
3.
Research, procurement & Advocacy phase
(a)Product research and pricing: a selection of 3-5 product options will be researched and presented with pricing details.
(b) Storage and delivery: storage of ordered items will be handled by our dedicated warehouse team before they get white-gloved delivered to you.
(c) Advocacy: We will act as your representative on the construction site and will work hand-in-hand with the builder and trade partners to ensure construction goes smoothly.
4.
Installation phase
We inspect all items upon arrival, install furniture and accessories, and style your place so you have that WOW feeling when you see it for the first time!
If any issues arise, we handle everything for you!
5.
Closing phase
We prepare a design summary for you documenting all products and design elements.
We will photograph the before and after of each project. We are always interested in collaborating with homeowners for publication in design magazines,which has historically shown to increase the value of your home.
